I’m on the JFX Sisterhood board (I’m the treasurer, which is quite funny if you know anything about my finance-related skills). As such I was lucky enough to participate in a recent “chesed” project for Hannukah. We collected household items for local families in need. Last week my daughter and I delivered them to Bina Drazin, a lovely women in Cleveland Heights whose life is devoted to giving. Literally. She was kind enough to show us around her home, which is filled with room after room of donated items. I had never seen anything like it. That’s pure chesed, plain and simple.
